Can i test drive a car?
My friend and I are both 18 and wanted to test drive a badass car. We were looking at doing it with a 350z or a 370z, but we dont know if the nissan dealership will let us. We know we have to sound interested, and we have a plan for that. But i am just wondering if they will let us do it first of all, and if they do will they have a salesperson accompy us? Because we want to push that car to the limits and i dont think the salesman would care too much hahaha.
First of all, the sales staff is made up of professionals. They will make sure that you qualify to purchase the car (which you do not) before they will let you drive it. Even if they let you drive, they are not going to let an 18 year old out with a car without going with them.
The first time you tried to drive the car hard, they will tell you to pull over, and they will drive the car back. If you give them any problems, you can be left on the side of the road to walk back to the dealership.
Auto salespeople get paid to sell cars. They are not there to give joyrides to kids who want to play.
