If you want to see yourself in a sporty roadster with loads of babe appeal then this is it. The designers have managed to trim 80 kg from the overall weight of the car , coupled with more power , you certainly get more bang for your buck speed wise.
But how does she handle with all that extra power at your disposal - well the spyder will hit 62mph in 5.1 seconds, 0.2sec quicker than a Boxster S, although it’s slower flat out thanks to the lack of a roof , but thats what you get for opting for a roadster. Not to worry though the babes love it with the top down.
The handling feels is also remarkable improved and responds beautifully when you open her up. The Spyder seems that much more alert and keen to get going . Obviously the drop in weight plays a massive part here but you can also thank the sports suspension for that.
Overall the Boxster Spyder is a zippy fun car to drive and sharp steering , slick handling and loads of pace offer tremendous sporting value at this price.
